Indoor Counselling Sessions
For those who prefer the structure of a regular face to face session in a beautiful, familiar and calm indoor setting at Nurture, Ann currently has availability on Friday mornings and Tuesday evenings. Her therapy uses an holistic and integrated approach, working alongside nature to create a relaxed, non judgemental atmosphere throughout the process.

Walk and Talk Sessions
If you prefer to keep moving, ‘walk and talk’ sessions in the local area can be a very positive approach to counselling; combining both conventional and green therapy. These sessions present the perfect opportunity to explore whilst engaging in the therapeutic work. Ann integrates plant and herbal knowledge when appropriate.
Using elements from both Herbology and Horticultural Therapy to inform her practice, Ann provides a blend of nature therapy tailored to client need. Current research around the benefits of nature connection for mental health and overall well-being are commonly featured in mainstream media – but what does it all mean and how do we benefit from it? The answer to those questions will unfold during the course of our work together.
£50 for 50 minute session
Actively Facilitated Sessions
Both the following can be booked as single one hour sessions or in groups of three sessions. They can be used in conjunction with or as an introduction to counselling.
£40 for a one hour session
Nature Journaling
These sessions can take place both indoors and outdoors and present a perfect option for helping to relax the mind, unwind and release creativity. Journaling is a widely accepted practice for releasing stress and anxiety and we find that selecting, using and engaging with natural materials complements the process.
Mindfulness Meditation
These sessions use a combination of nature based activities which lend themselves to an appreciation and understanding of mindfulness practice. There will be a mix of forest bathing, crafting and herbal folklore to relax, inspire and inform followed by a guided herbal infusion meditation. They are aimed as an introduction to self help practice but can simply be enjoyed in their own right.
Cancellation policy: In the event of extreme bad weather, outdoor events may be cancelled at short notice. An alternative date or full refund will be made.
