Winter solstice celebration

  • Nurture Saddleworth 23 Sam Road, Diggle Oldham United Kingdom (map)

Winter solstice celebration is an evening of pure soothing magic for the body, mind and soul.

As the longest night of the year approaches, we gather to celebrate the Winter Solstice.

The winter solstice is a significant event in many cultures and has been celebrated and observed for centuries. It often symbolizes the rebirth of light and the promise of longer, brighter days as we move toward spring. It's a time for reflection, celebration, and rituals that honor the changing of the seasons and the natural cycles of the Earth.

The evening will entail:

Gentle yoga stretches, dancing, journalling, poetry, story telling, and music all play a part in this epic evening.

This evening is a celebration to honor the longest night of the year, a moment when the world seems to stand still, and nature whispers its promise of the return of light.

Sunday 15th December 6-8pm
