Menopause: A Morning Retreat: The Gift of Essential Oils.

One of a series of Workshops offered by Sharon looking at Holistic Ways to support YOU so that you thrive during this life transition . A morning retreat offering Yoga & Meditation but also explores the phenomenal gift that essential oils have to offer us. 

This can so often be a time of isolation, a time of grieving, a time of emotional upheaval, a time of hormonal imbalance, a time when we feel out of touch with our bodies, a time of mental anguish, a time of sleep disruption & exhaustion. We don’t have to do it alone. Times are changing and this taboo topic is out in the open – women are coming together. It’s about seeing ourselves through a new lens. Ladies –we’re entering our Wisdom Years – let’s rejoice in that ! 

Menopause is not just physical change, it is a holistic journey. 

During this particular morning retreat we will start with an uplifting and inspiring meditation thus opening our space together. We will then engage in a specially designed yoga practice with asanas that benefit and support you during the changes that Menopause brings. 

The essence of this particular workshop will explore the gift of Mother Nature that is ESSENTIAL OILS and how you can derive benefits that bring relief from the symptoms of menopause. This will provide you with the basics of working with essential oils leaving you with the ability to begin to experiment and tailor homemade essentials oils offerings tailored to your Unique You. 

We will look at ways of relieving hot flashes & night sweats, mood swings and emotional wellness, sleep disturbances, hormonal imbalances & bone health & memory with the assistance of an array of potions. 

We will incorporate a short break including healthy snacks and herbal teas. 

We will come together at the end of the day in a nurturing restorative PAUSE with a beautiful Yoga Nidra & sharing circle to bring the day to a close.

You will receive a short daily practice plan, a recorded yoga nidra and recipes for the essential oils potions that we have discussed & experienced on the day within 48 hours of the day itself.

This Offering has been born out of my own personal experience of ongoing Menopause which I have found challenging emotionally, physically and mentally. It is also influenced by beautiful souls that have gone before me in sharing their expertise, knowledge & generosity of spirit.

During the physical practice of movement in yoga, I will encourage you to tune into your bodies as you find them on the day. I am but a Guide. Trust your body & tailor the practice to suit you. I invite rather than instruct.I invite you to approach your practice with Awareness, Acknowledgement and Acceptance. 

I am particularly excited to share with you in the workshop my love of essential oils. They have fascinated me for a long time and I have such a great appreciation for all they bring to my life and it's a privilege to bring a little of this to you'
