This can so often be a time of isolation, a time of grieving, a time of emotional upheaval, a time of hormonal imbalance, a time when we feel out of touch with our bodies, a time of mental anguish, a time of sleep disruption & exhaustion. We don’t have to do it alone. Times are changing and this taboo topic is out in the open – women are coming together. It’s about seeing ourselves through a new lens. Ladies –we’re entering our Wisdom Years – let’s rejoice in that !
Menopause is not just physical change, it is a holistic journey.
During this particular morning retreat we will start with an uplifting and inspiring meditation thus opening our space together. We will then engage in a specially designed yoga practice with asanas that benefit and support you during the changes that Menopause brings.
The essence of this particular workshop will explore the gift of Mother Nature that is ESSENTIAL OILS and how you can derive benefits that bring relief from the symptoms of menopause. This will provide you with the basics of working with essential oils leaving you with the ability to begin to experiment and tailor homemade essentials oils offerings tailored to your Unique You.
We will look at ways of relieving hot flashes & night sweats, mood swings and emotional wellness, sleep disturbances, hormonal imbalances & bone health & memory with the assistance of an array of potions.
We will incorporate a short break including healthy snacks and herbal teas.
We will come together at the end of the day in a nurturing restorative PAUSE with a beautiful Yoga Nidra & sharing circle to bring the day to a close.
You will receive a short daily practice plan, a recorded yoga nidra and recipes for the essential oils potions that we have discussed & experienced on the day within 48 hours of the day itself.
