Deepening your Yoga with Jane Craggs

  • Nurture Saddleworth 23 Sam Road, Diggle Oldham United Kingdom (map)

Song of the Heart: using sound to support a healthy nervous system.

First in this new series of therapeutic workshops with renowned teacher, teacher trainer and yoga therapist Jane Craggs, we're delighted to welcome these sessions to gently encourage you to delve deeper into the principles of yoga. Ancient philosophy meets modern science, to help you explore the physical, psychological, emotional and spiritual effects of a regular yoga practice.

These very special, occasional Friday night sessions held in the beautifully serene setting of Nurture are an opportunity to come and practice in person with Jane and go a little deeper into your yoga practice.

In this session, we will briefly look at the theory of sound and mantra and how helpful it can be for steadying our autonomic nervous system response to stress.

Soothing sound coupled with steady yoga practices, will guide us into a deeply restful and quiet state, giving us a punctuation mark at the end of the week and a gentle gateway into the weekend!

Who’s leading your workshop?

Jane teaches in a down to earth and humorous way and is keen on yoga myth busting ,offering logic and intelligence in her teaching and training.

Jane has been teaching in and around Greater Manchester since the year 2000. She opened Manchester's first Independent Yoga Studio in the Northern Quarter and was deeply committed right from the start to making yoga accessible to all communities and populations.

She is a long term personal student of the Mohan family of Chennai and tries to pass on with authenticity all the teachings that have been entrusted to her.

Jane's experience from many years of teaching general classes, specialist populations and Yoga therapy one to one is the foundation from which she built her teaching and training expertise. You can find out more at www.janecraggs.co.uk and @janecraggsyoga
